Daignon provides advice to parents on the correct care for their children of both sexes, and discussions of puberty.
This work is important for being an early medical work to utilise statistics and data, with this first part confronting the psychological and physiological problems of childhood and adolescence, and with the diseases of puberty.
Retaining the original half title.
CONDITION
Rebound in cloth, with endpapers renewed. A touch of rubbing to spine tail and discolouration to board perimeters, otherwise externally excellent. Front hinge a touch strained, but firmly held. Pages age toned, most prominently to title page and final few leaves. Spotting throughout.
