Beautiful hand blown Baccarat Remy Martin Louis XIII crystal decanter with topper. Produced between 1960 and 1970 to hold Grande Champagne Louis XIII cognac. Features flour de lis medallions and spiny trim along the edges of the bottle and the stopper. This is an exact replica of a rare decanter that used during the period of Louis XIII and was exclusively produced for E Remy Martin Cie. by the Baccarat Cristallerie of France. The underside displays acid etched Baccarat makers mark along with the E. Remy Martin & Cie, Cognac, France. This is number 234. Excellent condition. Approximately 7" wide x 3" deep x 11" tall. The case is approximately 10 3/4" tall x 9 1/4" wide x 5 3/8" deep. The satin or sateen covering has light fading, small areas of material lifting on the top corner of the door and a small lift or fray at the back base edge. The interior is in excellent condition.
